To get from Louis Armstrong Airport to downtown:

You can take bus 202 (RTA); it will only cost you $1.50 and take 30 minutes. You can buy a single ticket or a pass for the day ($3), three days ($8) or seven days ($15) online or with the Le Pass application which includes the usual various tools (e.g. search for an itinerary , buy a ticket or pass). 

You can also take a taxi (around $36) or a shuttle ($30).  

To get to the Tulane campus:

The conference will take place at the Lavin-Bernick Center, 29 McAlister Drive. Use Le Pass to find the best route by bus or tram (streetcar). For example, at the Elk Place stop on Canal Street, you can take the 57 which will drop you off in 20 minutes at the Freret at Loyola/Tulane stop just steps from the Lavin-Bernick Center.
